Why a movement: Doing: Finding each other, defining ourselves, supporting other organizations Not Doing: Separating ourselves from other groups and organizations Little desire to create separate “Girl Clubs” Do not need more clubs and organizations to donate our time and money to There was some sort of threat that we were going to withdraw from the larger community and go do our own thing… We find our hearts in service, we are people who find joy in relationship-separating is completely antithetical to who we are, why we are here, how we fly Where we fit: we are service people with a feminine heart. We do have our own voice, our own perceptions, our own place at the table.
